Dove Biblical Foundations Workshops


Beginning in Fall 2025, Dove C. Ministries will launch Biblical Foundations Workshops for women who want to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith. Over many years of mentoring and discipling, Esther has met countless women who faithfully attended church, sometimes for decades, yet still felt they lacked opportunities to study the core truths of Scripture in a clear and accessible way. Many of them have expressed a deep desire to know God’s Word more fully and to interpret it with confidence and accuracy.

Esther’s vision for Dove C. Ministries has always been to help women cultivate a lifestyle of intimacy with Christ through daily devotion to the Word and prayer, and consistent Spirit-led fellowship with like-minded sisters, with the hope of yielding the fruit of selfless love. She guides women to engage Scripture through observation, interpretation, and intentionality, while encouraging them to meditate deeply through guided questions, prayer journaling, and group discussions. Yet over time, Esther noticed a recurring challenge: even as women grew in their ability to study Scripture carefully - examining context, cross-references, and even original languages - they often lacked a basic doctrinal framework. Without this grounding, it was easy to miss how every passage of Scripture connects to the foundational truths of the Christian faith, such as the canon and authority of Scripture, the Trinity, sanctification, and other biblical doctrines.

While no one can fully exhaust the riches of God’s Word, knowing these essential doctrines greatly aids and enriches both our reading of Scripture and, more importantly, our relationship with the One Scripture reveals. To misinterpret Scripture is to risk misunderstanding who God is and how He has revealed Himself throughout history. Knowledge alone may not guarantee intimacy with Christ, but intimacy with Christ cannot exist without true knowledge of Him. This conviction is what inspired Esther to create the Biblical Foundations Workshops: to equip women with a biblical framework that anchors their study of Scripture in the whole counsel of God, leading them into deeper and richer communion with Christ.

These workshops are not lectures but conversations. Esther is a coach, not a lecturer. Guided by a key book, participants will engage in thoughtful discussions, wrestle with difficult questions, and grow together in a safe, supportive space. Esther’s role is to facilitate these conversations, provide trusted resources, and draw from her training at Grove City College, Westminster Theological Seminary, and the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation; as well as 17+ years of ministry experience and a decade of leading Dove C. Ministries. Her heart is to make these foundational truths and biblical tools accessible, so that biblical literacy becomes more and more common among Christian women, and intimacy with Christ flourishes from a deeper, richer, and more enduring grasp of God’s Word.

Dove C. Ministries offers all workshops at no cost because the heart of this ministry is to make God’s Word accessible to all woman. For those who feel led to give, donations will help sustain and expand this ministry so more women can be reached. A suggested gift of $25-$50 per session is appreciated, but every contribution, no matter the amount, will be received with deep gratitude and appreciation.
