Workshop Description

We live in an age of instant access to endless streams of information, yet confusion is everywhere. One of the most significant areas of confusion, even among Christians, surrounds the topic of gender. In the wake of the Industrial Revolution, feminism, and postmodern thought, biblical perspectives have often been buried beneath or blended with contemporary ideologies and cultural trends.

This workshop is for Christian women who desire to return to the foundation of Scripture to seek and understand what God has revealed about gender. Esther will guide participants on a journey through key passages of Scripture, inviting them to dig deeply, discover truth, and carefully examine what it truly means to be a woman according to our Maker and Designer. Together, participants will thoughtfully wrestle with the challenging questions and issues of our day.

Much of the content will be drawn from Recovering Biblical Manhood & Womanhood by John Piper & Wayne Grudem. A free pdf is available online.

With your registration you’ll receive: 

• Guidance, tools, and resources on the topic of manhood & womanhood

• A safe space to discuss & wrestle with this challenging topic alongside other Christian women

• A packet that includes the necessary materials for the workshop

• Workshop assignments that will help you internalize biblical perspectives & assess one’s own views in light of them

• Feb. 14th: Dating Seminar - Biblical Manhood & Womanhood in Dating
  (open to the public; need to register separately) 

• Feb. 28th: A Vision of Biblical Complementarity

• Mar. 14th: Male-Female Equality & Male Headship according to Genesis 1-3 

• Mar. 28th: Patriarchs, Kings, Priests, Prophets

• Apr.11th: Women in the Life & Teaching of Jesus

• Apr. 25th: Reflection, Feedback, Q&A

Registration closes on Sunday January 11th, 2026.
